Which Season Should You Get Your Roof Replaced?

Folks in our Philly region are reluctant to get their roof done in the winter. It is cold, snowing, and we get hit with unexpected ice storms. Also, during the holiday season most people are spending money on gifts and parties and their financial focus is not on a roof. However, come tax season and after folks file, they are ready to plan for their summer projects. If possible, start making your plan in the winter and get in very early in the Spring. Then you have the rest of the summer to enjoy and relax at the shore. 

After the spring rush and those jobs are completed,  summer starts off somewhat slower as most folks are settling into summer and spending a lot of time in the mountains and at the shore.  It's still a steady time for us and this is a VERY GOOD time to have your roof installed.  Take advantage of your neighbors who are vacationing and taking holiday for Memorial Day and July 4th. If possible, schedule your summer roof installation between 4th of July and Labor Day.

Naturally, due to the weather, this isn't the most popular time to have your new roof put on.  However, most roofers are hungry for work and lower their prices in the winter. In particular, this is a great time to get a high quality metal roof, with the best (lowest) price, as well as with minimum stress!
